Fitbit Luxe, the premium activity-tracking wristband, has surfaced.
Fitbit, one of the biggest names in the wearables market, continues to expand its product line. This time, the Fitbit Luxe activity tracking wristband surfaced.
The Fitbit Luxe is not only supposed to ensure the wearer’s well-being and fitness with an attractive design but also with a whole range of useful and partly new features. Visually, Fitbit aims for a classy look, which is why they rely on a metal case made of polished stainless steel, among other things.
Colorful and Interchangeable Straps for Fitbit Luxe
The manufacturer wants to use an OLED display for the Fitbit Luxe and uses a very classic buckle closure for the strap, as it has been known from normal watches for centuries. The straps are interchangeable, so Fitbit should also offer an extensive range of replacement straps as usual.
Unfortunately, we do not yet have information about the resolution of the display and other technical details like the battery life. However, the device is presumably very similar to the Fitbit Ace 3, which had its market launch a few weeks ago.
Among other things, Fitbit naturally integrates a heart rate monitor. Sleep and activity tracking are just as much a part of the feature set as stress monitoring. The tracker informs with vibrations during one of the numerous supported workout variations when the targeted heart rate zone has been reached.
Of course, the Luxe can also be used while running or cycling via the GPS module of the smartphone connected to the tracker. The Fitbit Luxe can also serve well when swimming, as the case is also certified waterproof.
We do not yet know when and at what price the Fitbit Luxe will be released.
