As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
ReviewInDetail participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
What This Means in Practice
Most product links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase on Amazon, we may earn a small commission. Three things are always true about those links:
- You never pay more. The commission comes out of Amazon's side of the transaction. The price you pay is identical whether you arrive through our link or type the product name into Amazon yourself.
- The commission never depends on what we said about the product. Amazon's rate varies by product category — never by our verdict. We earn the same rate on a given product whether we scored it 9.2 or 3.1, and our scores are set before any commercial consideration.
- Links never buy coverage. Which products we review, how we score them, and what we recommend are editorial decisions. Manufacturers and brands cannot pay for placement, and we do not accept compensation for reviews.
Why We Disclose
The FTC's Endorsement Guides require sites like ours to clearly disclose financial relationships that could affect how you weigh our recommendations. We think that's right. You'll find a disclosure notice on every page that contains affiliate links — this page is the long-form version.
